15A – Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 2
Interview #1: Jenny
- Liked to customize clothes and usually adjusts clothes herself. She changes the fit and length, cuts off collars, and adds embroidery
- Instead of looking for something like the ZipStrip she would be more likely to just go but supplies and change her clothes herself
- She said that the changes don't take many supplies and its usually inexpensive. She shops for her clothes and tailoring stuff in person but would be fine using online shopping for small pieces and accessories.
- She grades her purchases on durability and looks, but most;y on functionality
Interview #2: Sarah
- Was willing to accessorize but was not as thrifty as Jenny
- Needs to try on clothes in person and doesn't do much online shopping
- Price, durability, and style were her things she looked for
- decided what was a good purchase by how often she wore something
Interview #3: Helen (my sister and also in the next assignment)
- Customizes herself and with different accessories
- Likes natural/ environmentally conscious/ humane things
- Her will to add to outfits comes and goes based on her mood
- She uses iron on patches and cuts shirts sometimes for utility and others for style
- Mostly buys clothes in person but is find with accessories online, stressed the importance or reviews and how trustworthy a website was
- Evaluated a purchase based on how often something is used and picked
These new interviews seem to go along with what I have already found out about this second target market for the ZipStrip. People add and change bits of their outfits for different looks and moods, decide purchases based on if it will fit their clothes and has a reasonable price, and evaluate its quality based on how often they want to use it.
Hey Paul,
ReplyDeleteFirst off, just want to say I like the new blog theme. I might update mine for the second half of this semester as it is nice to change things up once in a while. This is also a nice post. I like how you kept it informative but also organized in a way that is easy to absorb the information easily. I enjoyed reading this, great job!
